Five days of meetings, discussions, visits, movies and new proposals promoted on an international scale by the City of Milano, the Politecnico university and the Triennale. The event is the brainchild of Stefano Boeri, who designed the world-acclaimed Vertical Forest skyscraper. Lectures by Jacques Herzog, Toyo Ito, Kazuyo Sejima, and Wang Shu are held.

Beyond the Triennale, several other places and institutes are involved - the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation in Viale Pasubio, the Prada Foundation in Largo Isarco, the Base in Via Tortona, the Order of Architects in Via Solferino, and the new districts of Porta Nuova and CityLife among them. Vespa architectural tours are also scheduled.
