The Pomeriggi Orchestra perform music by Ludwig van Beethoven (Coriolan Overture), Franz Joseph Haydn (Trumpet Concerto), Jean-Baptiste Arban (The Carnival of Venice), Bedřich Smetana (Má vlast) and Maurice Ravel (Bolero).
.:. Pomeriggi Musicali is a permanent orchestra and a foundation, created in Milan soon after World War II. The first concert was held on November 27, 1945 with a program that boldly put together Mozart and Stravinsky, Beethoven and Prokofjev. Their repertoire spans from Baroque to 20th-century music.
