Started off quietly a few years ago, and later patronised by the Milan City Council, Milano Film Festival celebrates its 20th edition. A plethora of films and
shorts, with an eye to the emerging themes on the domestic and international
research scene, plus documentaries that depict crimes, injustice and slaughters under the banner of freedom, security and religion.

Une jeunesse allemande, by Jean-Gabriel Periot, from the Berlinale festival, and
James White by Josh Mond, from Sundance and Locarno. More film sections, one dedicated to Austrian directors like Nikolaus Geyrhalter, workshops, talks, bars, a trattoria, and concerts complete the contest.
.:. Events and projections are scheduled not only at the Teatro Strehler, but also at the nearby Teatro Studio Melato, the
Parco Sempione, the Teatro dell'Arte, the Spazio Oberdan, the San Fedele, the MI MAT, the Barrio's, the Fondazione Rivoli2 and the Cascina Cuccagna.
