Hundreds of pianos are playing throughout Milan this weekend, in houses, courtyards or public places, covering nearly every corner of the town - even boats along the Navigli canals (Sat) and tramways (Sun).

Indisputable pianists like Michael Nyman, Yulianna Avdeeva or Evan Lurie take part, and the locations - besides the Villa Reale, where the Piano Center is located - include special places like the Palazzo Edison at Foro Buonaparte 31, the Touring Club of Italy at Corso Italia 10, Villa Simonetta, and the Villa Reale in Monza. But what really matters is the musical involvement of the whole city.
