The Scala Orchestra and Choir, and the Treble Voices Chorus of the Teatro alla Scala Academy, conducted by Zubin Mehta, perform Der Rosenkavalier, a comic opera in three acts by Richard Strauss to an original German libretto by Hugo von Hofmannsthal, a Salzburg Festival Production. Performances through July 2. Staging by Harry Kupfer, sets by Hans Schavernoch, lights by Jürgen Hoffman, and videos by Thomas Reimer.
