Eleventh edition for the late summer festival organized by the Milan and Turin city authorities to promote cultural links between the two main economic powerhouses of Italy's North West.
.:. Churches, castles, theaters, museums and clubs all over Lombardy and Piedmont set the stage for 140 classical and experimental music concerts.

Some of the most famous orchestras involved this year are the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester (September 3 and 4), the Filarmonica della Scala (September 20 and 21) and the Eighth Blackbird from Chicago. Best soloists include Gauthier Capuçon, Julian Rachlin, Ian Bostridge, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Lilya Zilberstein, Gabriela Montero, Truls Mørk and Salvatore Accardo.
