For Formula 1 enthusiasts it is a not-to-be-missed rendez-vouz, an outdoor happening to attend with friends, bringing - why-not? - a picnic. Striving for the Grand Prix at this 85th Gran Premio d'Italia will be some twenty cars from world renowned teams like Ferrari, Mercedes, Williams and Red Bull.
.:. The race-course itself is a monument to engineering - it was established in the 1920s - but its location in the middle of a park is a permanent source of controversy.
.:. While September 5 and 6 are for the practices, the proper event is scheduled for Sunday 7. Online tickets from August 1st from the circuit website.
