In order to fight any further diffusion of COVID-19, people are advised to be very cautious when meeting others, even outdoor. A distance of a meter or so must be kept - and a face mask (better if surgical) worn - in case of any personal encounters.
.:. Milan and Lombardy are still at risk, though bars, restaurants, shops and even museums are beginning to reopen starting from Wednesday, June 3. Finger crossed.

Nature has sent the coronavirus, and its pandemic has put an end to the Anthropocene, declares the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI). The foundation sticks to its mission, however: making live more livable, and inviting to look rather than simply seeing. The time has therefore come to turn the traditional FAI Spring Weekend -- which the corona stopped -- into a big outdoor initiative.
.:. Two hundred places in seventy Italian towns can be visited, the Donnafugata Garden in the island of Pantelleria included. Worth a particular mention are the Garden of Palazzo Moroni in Bergamo, the Botanic Garden in Padua, the village of Monesteroli in Liguria and, in Milan, the Oak at Piazza XXIV Maggio, the Garden of the Villaggio Pirelli and the Arcadia Garden.
.:. Some FAI regular places, like the (Villa del Balbianello in Lenno on Lake Como, the Villa Panza in Varese and the Masino Castle, where the original maze has been renewned, complement the offer. Online reservation is anyway required.
