In order to fight any further diffusion of COVID-19, people are advised to be very cautious when meeting others, even outdoor. A distance of a meter or so must be kept - and a face mask (better if surgical) worn - in case of any personal encounters.
.:. Milan and Lombardy are still at risk, though bars, restaurants, shops and even museums began reopening from June 3. Schools started again on September 14. Finger crossed.

Fourteenth edition for the late summer festival organized by the Milan and Turin city authorities to promote cultural links between the two main economic powerhouses of Italy's North West.
.:. This year’s “all-Italian” festival opens with the Giuseppe Verdi Symphony Orchestra of Milano, conducted by Daniele Rustioni, featuring violinist Francesca Dego (pictured), and closes with Turin’s Teatro Regio Orchestra, conducted by Sesto Quatrini, featuring pianist Giuseppe Albanese.
.:. Artists include conductors Ottavio Dantone, Michele Mariotti and Alessandro Cadario, cellists Mario Brunello, Enrico Dindo and Giovanni Sollima, and pianists Andrea Lucchesini, Benedetto Lupo, Emanuele Arciuli, Filippo Gamba, Davide Cabassi, Filippo Gorini, Bruno Canino and Antonio Ballista.
.:. Temperatures are taken upon entry, and people with a temperature above 37.5° are denied admission. Face masks to be worn. Assigned seating, to guarantee distancing. Tickets, program and information in English are available from the MiTo - SettembreMusica website.
