Fifteenth edition for the late summer festival organized by the Milan and Turin city authorities to promote
cultural links between the two main economic powerhouses of Italy's North West.
.:. The series of one hundred and twenty six concerts starts with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra (belonging to the national public broadcasting company) conducted by Fabio
Luisi, featuring pianist Francesco Piemontesi, and closes with the Teatro alla
Scala Orchestra, conducted by Riccardo
Chailly.
.:. Guest artists include tenor Ian Bostridge, pianists Ivo
Pogorelich, Gabriela Montero and Michail Lifits, cellists Camille Thomas and Miriam Prandi, violinist Sergej Krylov, and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir. Some weekend concerts are designed for
kids.
.:. Temperatures are taken upon entry, and people with a temperature above 37.5° are denied admission. Face masks to be worn. Assigned seating, to guarantee distancing. Tickets, program and information in English are available from the
