Funded by Eni (the Italian National Hydrocarbons Agency), the Louvre is temporarily lending to the city of Milan one of the most beautiful paintings by the young Titian, Woman with the mirror (ca. 1515).
.:. A son of the Venetian mountains (ca. 1490-1576), Tiziano Vecellio worked till his late eighties, leaving one of the most massive and seminal productions of artworks in the Italian Renaissance.
