The Manifattura di Doccia, established by Marquis Carlo Ginori in the early 18th century, was particularly successful when, from 1923 to 1933, the Milanese architect and designer Gio Ponti was its art director. The company is still based in Tuscany, and keep producing very fine porcelain. Several lines for the home have been added over time.
