The Italian fashion system is a closed circle. While design fairs turn the whole of Milan in a non-stop series of events open to the public, all of the défilés de mode are strictly reserved to professionals.
.:. The Vogue magazine wants to change this. For the ninth time (the first was in September 2009) they have organized a fashion night when the most exclusive shops in town meet ordinary people and offer specially designed pieces (not all of them necessarily expensive).
.:. It's obviously pure marketing... But it can be fun, can it?
