In order to fight any further diffusion of COVID-19, people are advised to be very cautious when meeting others, even outdoor. A distance of a meter or so must be kept - and a face mask (better if surgical) worn - in case of any personal encounters.
.:. Milan and Lombardy are still at risk, though bars, restaurants, shops and even museums began reopening from June 3. Schools started again on September 14. Yet, though we kept our fingers crossed, a new lockdown has been enforced starting from November 5.

The Teatro alla Scala Orchestra, Choir and Ballet Company, conducted by Zubin Mehta (July 11 and 14; November 12 and 14) or Michele Gamba, perform La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, a La Scala production.
.:. Staging by Liliana Cavani, sets by Dante Ferretti, costumes by Gabriella Pescucci, choreography by Micha van Hoeckeand and lights by Marco Filibeck. Marina Rebeka (July 11 and 14) or Angel Blue sing as Violetta. Performances through November 25.
