Old furnishings intertwined into sculptures, a big black car populated by black model cars,, rooms full of any stuff covered by an untouchable layer of grey, huge balls of mixed fabric, plastic model soldiers on an old wooden boat, underwater books in bed... It's hard to tell how, but the world of Chen Zhen (Shangai, 1955-Paris, 2000) really offers short circuits.
