This is a season when women photographers are highly considered in the city's exhibition panorama. Along with Inge Morath and the Milanese feminist photographers in the 1970s and 1980s, you now find some hundred pictures by Bourke-White (New York, 1904-1971), a landmark in the history of photojournalism.
.:. The Life archive provides material for eleven sections - ranging from “The fascination with steelworks” to “Eyes on Russia”, from Gandhi’s “India” to the autobiographic “My mysterious malady” - retracing the existential path of Bourke-White through dense and dazzling photographic stories.
