Even in a time of pandemic Milan has been no exception: here too January was time for sales. The research (struggle?) of good and cheaper stuff started on the first Thursday of the month, to last nominally till March 7 -- but unofficially much longer. If you're looking forward to a shop-till-you-drop session, remember that changing rope is your right... but keep the receipt!
.:. The best area, and obviously still the most expensive, is Monte Napoleone. In the main shopping areas, such as Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Corso Buenos Aires, temporary shops are increasing. A try may be worthwhile.
