As it did last year on May 18, starting from this year's April 26 the Poldi Pezzoli is again the first Milanese museum to open again to visitors after a lockdown, obviously complying to the current post-Covid-19 guidelines.
.:. Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli, the founder of this illustrious house museum, came from one of Milan's oldest, most cultured and most well-endowed families. The Poldi Pezzoli collection was gradually gathered together in the building which still houses it today.
.:. There are paintings by Pollaiolo, Botticelli, Mantegna, Giovanni Bellini, Piero della Francesca, Cosmè Tura, Foppa, Solario, Luini, Boltraffio, Cesare da Sesto, Fra' Galgario, Bergognone, Guardi, Canaletto, and Tiepolo.
