Milan is no exception: here too January is time for sales. The research (struggle?) of good and cheaper stuff starts on the first Saturday of the month, to last till March 4. If you're looking forward to a shop-till-you-drop session, remember that, generally speaking, changing rope is your right... but keep the receipt!
.:. The best area, and obviously still the most expensive, is Monte Napoleone. In the main shopping areas, such as Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Corso Buenos Aires, temporary shops are increasing. A try may be worthwhile.
