Tour operators, travel agents, government tourist boards, hotels, camping organizations and the like come to Milan for the Bit, an important tourism fair which turns 44 this year. Exhibitors about nearly sixty countries - though mostly private entrepreneurs - give vacation advice to fellow professionals and travellers.
.:. More than an opportunity for the Italian outgoing tourism, as it used to be, the Bit is now focused on incoming and the domestic market. 2023 was a successful year that needs to be confirmed. Managers correctly insist on sustainability, overtourism management, and technology.
.:. On Sunday, February 4 the fair is open to the general public, while on Monday 5 and Tuesday 5 access is limited to the trade. A previous on line registration is required anyway.
