The Milan and Turin city authorities promote cultural links between the two main economic powerhouses of Italy's North West for the nineteenth edition of their late summer festival. The theme is Rivoluzioni, this year. The series of thirty-four concerts scheduled In Milan starts with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antonio Pappano, performing compositions by Bernstein, Prokof'ev, and Copland.
.:. Music performed includes pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Dmitri Shostakovich, Franz Joseph Haydn, Johann Sebastian Bach, Luciano Berio, and Fryderyk Chopin. Some concerts are designed for kids.
