The Teatro alla Scala orchestra and chorus conducted by Evelino Pidò perform La fille du régiment by Gaetano Donizetti on a libretto by Jean-François-Alfred Bayard and Jules-Henry Vernoy de Saint-Georges, a reconstruction by the Grand Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona from an original co-production of the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London, and Wiener Staatsoper.
