A quite important show-cum-sale, MiArt is held in Milan's city trade quarter with an eye to making the general public more familiar with modern and contemporary art.
.:. The event, in which some hundred sixty Italian and foreign galleries take part, is complemented by talks, meetings, and a series of more events around town – the Art Week – with several galleries open till late from Tuesday, April 13 till Sunday, April 19.
.:. The MiArt 2026 edition has the main Established section based on Italian galleries as its backbone, while Emergent also gathers international galleries introducing the most recent generations of artists.
.:. MiArt shares the leading role among contemporary art fairs in Italy with Artissima (in Turin, November) and ArteFiera (in Bologna, January-February).
