Salone del Mobile
Tuesday, April 21 through Sunday, April 26, 2026
Every year Milan, the world capital of design, hosts the Salone del Mobile, an international fair on home
furnishings attended by some 2,000 exhibitors and 700 young designers, who come from around the world to display the latest trends in the furniture industry.
.:. The 2026 edition of the Salone, the 64th, is held in the Fiera district at Rho-Pero. It's complemented by
EuroCucina, with FTK – Technology For the Kitchen, and the Salone Internazionale del Bagno, or International
Bathroom Exhibition. Though traditionally reserved to trade people, the fair is
open to the general public on
Saturday 25 and
Sunday 26, and you can visit
free every day the
SaloneSatellite [2025 pictures], a breeding ground for selected young designers from more than forty countries.
.:. Salone Raritas, a selection of unique objects at Pavilion 9, debuts this year. So does
Aurea, an immersive installation playing a part in the "Luxury Way" at Pavilions 13-15. Generally speaking, the new “A Matter of Salone” communication campaign puts materials back as design fundamentals.
.:. Yet, it's the
whole city to become a sort of Tuesday-to-Sunday non-stop
event during the
Design Week [2025 pictures]. Several districts, like Brera, the Università Statale or Porta Venezia, and cultural centers like BASE, host intriguing exhibitions.
.:. Day by day information about the number of special events taking place in showrooms and stores around town is provided by trade magazines like
Interni. Also visit the
Fuorisalone guide.
