one picture only .:. ArteFiera shares the leading role among contemporary art fairs in Italy with Artissima (in Turin, November) and MiArt (in Milan, April). Two hundred art dealers, publishers and institution from Europe, America and Asia take part in this 49th edition, where specific sections on photography, multiples, 20th- and 21th-century masters as well as up-and-coming artists supplement the core of the fair.
.:. Dozens side activities have been programmed throughout town, with a White Night on Saturday 7 till midnight. This Art City project, too, lasts till February 8. Don't miss events by Alexandra Pirici at the Archiginnasio (Piazza Luigi Galvani 1), Nora Turato at the Biblioteca Universitaria (Via Zamboni 33/35), giulia deval at the former Istituto di Zoologia (Via San Giacomo 9), Mike Kelley at the former Facoltà di Ingegneria (Viale Risorgimento 2), Ana Mendieta at Palazzo Hercolani (Strada Maggiore 45), and Augustas Serapinas (Vilnius, 1990) at the Fondazione Federico Zeri (Piazzetta Giorgio Morandi 2).
