A historic Fiat car factory, turned into an exhibition center, hosted the first thirteen editions of this five day-long eco-gastronomic event, organized by the Slow Food movement. Since 2016, instead, the "Salone del Gusto" has spread in the heart of the town, turning Turin into a mix between a diffused workshop and a deli supermarket.
.:. Food and wine tastings, purchasable delicacies, workshops and meetings, recipes from five continents and much ado about our gastronomic heritage. "Terra Madre" means Mother Earth, after all.
.:. The 2020 edition, however, is intended as a global series of more events, spread in many countries and continuing in a diffuse mood till April 2021. The keyword is going to be biodiversity.
