Trame Sonore
May 29 through June 2, 2025

Over three hundred international instrumentalists give life to approximately one hundred and fifty concerts in thirty art sites in the city of Antonio Stradivari, Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesu and the Amati violin-making dynasty. Music invades very well-known venues like Palazzo Ducale, Palazzo Te, Palazzo Castiglioni and the Teatro Bibiena, but also historic homes, squares, alleys and cloisters of the city of art.
.:. Key figures are Alfred Brendel, guest of honor, and Alexander Lonquich, artist in residence. The musicians of the Mantua Chamber Orchestra are joined by leading figures such as violinist Rachell Ellen Wong, cellist Ettore Pagano, pianist Francesco Libetta, and tenor Ian Bostridge,
.:. It's a kind of non-stop happening – fifteen hours a day of classical repertoire – that can be extended to a visit to the Museo del Violino in Piazza Marconi, as well as to the tables of Padana gastronomy.
