Festivaletteratura
Wednesday, September 3 through Sunday, September 7, 2025

Streets, squares and palazzi of the Renaissance town of Mantua are populated by readers and writers for the 29th time. The list of international guests includes the Pulitzer Price winner Elizabeth Strout and Nathan Hill from the States, Mariana Enríquez and Camila Sosa Villada from Argentina, Jan Brokken and Frank Westerman from the Netherlands, Pascale Kramer and Lukas Bärfuss from Switzerland, plus Marija Stepanova, Paul Murray and Polly Clark
.:. Readings, lectures and meetings, along with exhibitions, concerts and theatre, are all part of the event, which obviously involves a number of outstanding Italian participants like Antonio Scurati, Roberto Saviano, Carlo Lucarelli, and Antonio Albanese.
.:. Since the festival got very popular, advanced on line purchasing of tickets for the selected meetings is mandatory.
.:. Several trains from Milan reach Mantova – this is the Italian name of the town – in two or three hours.
.:. Pictures from a previous edition of Festivaletteratura can be found at the CiaoMilano Facebook page.
