Cinema Godard Screenings
through March 30, 2025

Fondazione Prada’s Cinema Godard explores the cinematic landscape of the present and past through a wide-ranging and articulated program selected by Paolo Moretti, which takes the form of an ongoing festival in constant evolution. The March program includes special screenings, premieres, and meetings with prominent and emerging figures in Italian and international cinema.
.:. #Soggettiva investigates the work of the master of thrills Dario Argento. The section includes a review of the director's most important films that illustrate the evolution of his cinematographic production: from his debut film The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, which redefined the Italian thriller genre, to the horror and thriller masterpieces Deep Red, Suspiria and Phenomena, up to his latest feature film Black Glasses, presented at the 2022 Berlin Film Festival.
.:. The #AR focus is dedicated to the work of Mexican director Alonso Ruizpalacios, who will present his latest film La cocina on Friday 21 March. #Anteprima presents Soundtrack to a Coup d’Etat by Johan Grimonprez, Agent of Happiness by Arun Bhattarai and Dorottya Zurbó, and Transmazonia by Pia Marais.
.:. In March, a special screening is scheduled to celebrate the release in Italian cinemas of Diciannove, the debut feature film by Giovanni Tortorici. #Supernova presents Mother Vera Vera by Cécile Embleton and Alys Tomlinson. #Queerelle explores contemporary queer cinema with All Shall Be Well by Yeung.
