The Fondazione Prada's Cinema Godard resumes its activities after the summer break with an extensive programme of screenings and meetings with leading figures from the world of independent and arthouse cinema.
.:. #Anteprima, the section that presents unreleased films before their Italian theatrical release, hosts Afternoons of Solitude by Albert Serra and Heads or Tails? by Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis. On the occasion of “Sueño Perro: Instalación Celuloide de Alejandro G. Iñárritu”, the exhibition opening at Fondazione Prada in Milan on 18 September 2025, #Soggettiva retraces the filmography of Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
.:. The #ARP focus pays tribute to the work of Alex Ross Perry with Pavements and Videoheaven. #Supernova, the monthly event on emerging talents in contemporary cinema, presents La montagna magica (2025), the second feature film by director and visual artist Micol Roubini.

Cult Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn and renowned game designer Hideo Kojima are the focus of #Studio, the section that explores the connections between cinema and the visual arts, with two unmissable events. On Friday 26 September, the two authors will discuss their respective ideas about cinema. Afterwards, they will present Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey to the public.
.:. #Nocturna pays tribute to two masters of Italian genre cinema by presenting two recently restored films: Mario Bava's Black Sunday and Riccardo Freda's visionary The Ghost.
.:. #Classici offers the audience the opportunity to rediscover four legendary masterpieces from the history of cinema on the big screen. #Moderni, the section dedicated to the recent past of contemporary cinema, was created to bridge the gap between #Classici and #Selezione.
